messy messy messy hey guys just poppin' in to let you know that i'm still alive and well >w>
to be totally honest I haven't been touching my tablet much lately. :c I've done a lot of traditional sketchings and acrylic paintings, though! I've been meaning to scan some things but I literally hate my scanner to the point that I would gladly punch a hole through it. >:V On the flip side, I've been drawing lots of pEOPLE- lots and lots of people drawing. Drawing animals is still very fun though- I'd be willing to take in a few simple commissions. I've become a little bit more lose and fun and experimental with my animal drawings, I think (well, hopefully). Unfortunately backgrounds still aren't my strong suit but I've attempted a few speed paintings and thumbnail drawings to get a feel for it. I've also been doing a lot of writing lately, so I'm generally all over the place. I don't really have time to stop or rest (lately I just really hATE DOING NOTHING?) (I need to keep busy) (at all times)
My goals this year include boosting my fitness (I've already been working out for a month- it's officially a habit!) (*screams*) (and I'M ENJOYING IT?!) (MOVING?!?) (bad me, so out of shape), improving on backgrounds + people, making things for my portfolio, getting a part-time job, getting my driver's license (I'm at that awkward age). I've been terribly busy with school lately but my first semester has ended and I'm on a very short break. ;w;

aw, good for you! i'm excited to see your work, whether it's writing or drawing. also ugh how do u find the motivation to exercise i am glued to my bed.
motivation is hard to find at first, i'll be honest. i actually sort of just got to this point where i snapped and realized that i deserve better than what i've been doing to myself!? i can't say i feel very insecure anymore, either? when you learn to appreciate yourself, motivation comes easy, i suppose. 8o otherwise i'd advise that you should start becoming conscious of when you aren't doing anything at all (for example, laying on the couch or sitting on your bed biting your nails), and just remind yourself to sTART DOING SOMETHING? its hard to explain but if you do it often enough it becomes quite natural and automatic? :U
