GUESS WHO'S BACK FROM SUMMER SCHOOL (in case you didn't read my journal)
WELP we were reading Lord of the Flies and we were assigned a project!
Here are some pictures I illustrated for class. We needed to do a 15 minute power point presentation in groups, so I figured, what better way to jazz it up than to draw pictures?
Hahaha, while presenting I mentioned that I drew these and the teacher's jaw hit the floor. She took pictures LOL.
Why did I make Piggy so cute!? I don't even know. I can't help myself, ohoho.
In retrospect it's kind of ironic to draw these in such a kiddie style- considering the heavy subject matter of the novel. It was really fun to make these though! It was nice to draw people instead of animals by obligation. 8D

Of the two deaths in the novel, Piggy's death was the worst for two reasons. First, Simon's death was accidental (it was dark and they thought they killing The Beast), whereas Piggy was flat-out murdered by a rolling boulder in broad daylight. Second, Piggy's death was the loss of Ralph's closest friend and ally, and Jack knew it, which is why he screamed "There isn't a tribe for you anymore! The conch is gone...........I'm chief!"
